Piston Type Lift Check Valve

Piston type

With seat design similar to a Globe valve, Laminar offers lift non-return valve to prevent reverse flow in the line. Automatic operating, according to the increase or decrease in pipeline pressure. Flow in lift Check valves will always stream below the seat. Once flow enters the valve, the piston-disc raises up off the seat, whereas a decrease in the pressure in inlet side and/or a buildup of pressure on the outlet side leads the piston downward to close. Also, when flow stops or reverses, the piston is forced onto the seat of the valve by both the reverse flow and gravity.

Lift Check valves are more suitable for high-pressure applications where high flow velocity is necessary. In lift check valves, the disc is precisely guided and fits perfectly into the seat. Lift Check valves are generally suitable for horizontal lines however it can be also installed in vertical position.
