Sewage grease, corrosive gases, solids, and scum in sewage combine to aggravate the maintenance problem and to reduce the reliability of pipeline’s components in wastewater force pipelines. Laminar air valve has been designed for efficient discharge and intake of air from pressurized sewage systems where confined air (gases) could threat the system’s operation. The valve’s elongated body design reduce the possibility of suspended solids or greases, debris, oils clogging the orifice or causing the mechanism to malfunction and stick. For ease of maintenance and safety of operators, the air valve is equipped with a drain plug to allow periodic flushing of sediments, grease and particles.

The Laminar Range of waste water air valves are all based on stainless-steel internal components with a float on an extended operating stem to ensure that the valve is closed before the medium reaches the sealing level. The valves offer tight sealing at pressures from 0.2 bar.
